Mindfulness Foundations
A 4-Week Program

This 4-week online program is intended to help you build and deepen your mindfulness practice.

 

The weekly sessions are based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and foundational principles of Insight Meditation. Each session, we'll introduce new mindfulness meditations, which you'll be invited to practice through the week. Along with meditation practice, we'll inquire into our experience of meditation and home practice. Each session will build from what was learned the previous week:  

  1. Grounding: The Body as an Anchor

  2. Deeper Mindfulness: Sensations and Feeling Tones

  3. Mindfulness of Mind: How to Skillfully Meet Thoughts and Emotions 

  4. Equanimity: The Capacity for Wise Response

New and experienced meditators are welcome. Everyone is invited to come together to share the support and encouragement of community practice. The weekly sessions will support new meditators to start a regular mindfulness practice, while experienced meditators can refresh and deepen their practice.


By the end of the program, we hope to leave you with the foundations to launch or revitalize your mindfulness practice, and some new tools to help you flourish in your daily life.
